Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup greek yoghurt, low fat (Note 1)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/3 cup fresh coriander/cilantro (Note 2)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 slices jalapeno (Note 3)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a food processor. Blitz until smooth.
  • Store in the fridge until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  1. Greek yoghurt - Substitute for silken tofu or a plant based yoghurt to make this recipe vegan.
  2. Coriander/Cilantro - Remove if your not a fan. If so, I recommend adding another herb such as parsley or chives for extra dietary fibre and overall nutrition. Otherwise it still tastes great without any herbs.
  3. Jalapenos - Can be completely removed without affecting the flavour too much. Otherwise I recommend adding them one at a time to reach your desired heat level.
  4. Storage - Will last for roughly 1 week if kept in an airtight container in the fridge.
  5. Nutrition - Calculated per serve, assuming 9 serves.
